DWSIM Wastewater treatment process

Hi, I am new to DWSIM. I am trying to create a simulation for heavy metals removal from wastewater. Is there a sample flowsheet for such process? Or any pointers on what add-ins I need to use to have properties for arsenic, selenium, mercury etc.

Hi Shubhasini,

Currently, there are no sample flowsheets on process for simulation of heavy metals removal from wastewater.

The metal compounds that you mentioned are not available in the built-in database of DWSIM. However, you can add them to your flowsheet using the New Compound Creator Study option available under File menu.
