my debian based thinbook is facing some issues in booting.

it shows the RDP screen and next the screen goes blank and laptop switches off, with all indicator LEDs going off too.

after swithing on multiple times, the laptop occassinally goes beyond this stage and completes booting and starts.

what could be the problem? how to resolve it?
