So I guess I'll start this out by saying that I just hope to get some support here. A week and a half ago I was told I have triple negative invasive ductile carcinoma.

I have been breastfeeding my daughter for a year Monday (my sweet girls birthday) and thought maybe the lump was a clogged duct. I got it checked out and it's not. My life has been totally flipped upsidedown and I don't think I've even came to accept it yet.

I have to get a port placed and chemo started in the coming weeks. It's 12 weeks just for chemo which will leave me feeling not so great as I have been told, and the hair loss. Then lumpectomy followed by 6 weeks of radiation.

I'm broken hearted as I'm mourning the ability to breastfeed anymore along with the fact that I will likely need a lot of help just to make things work in my household.

Ladies, if you feel a lump don't push it off. Get the biopsy and find out what it is. Most likely it's not a big deal if you're under 40 but it could be.
