Dehydration Plant Simulation

Dear Sir/Madam

Iam trying on simulation of a dehydration plant .What is the unit operation that I can use in place of packed contactor,scrubber as we don't have these units in DWSIM.Thanks

It is true that there are no packed contactor or scrubber unit in DWSIM. As of now there are no unit operation available which can replace them. However you can create your own unit operation using the Python Script Unit Operation available in the flowsheet objects.

First of all Thanks for your reply. As I am new to this software and unaware of python script I have no idea how to create a new unit operation using the same.Also I am not getting enough material on how to work with python script . It would be a great help if you could suggest some references to lookup or how to create a new simple unit operation using Python script. Thank You.

Open DWSIM. Go to File >> Open Samples. Open "Membrane Custom Unit Operation.dwxml" file. Click on the Unit Operation named "Membrane" and click "Open Python Script Editor"
