g=krac2(h)
hf1=h/.g(1);roots(denom(hf1))
In the previous line of code I am baffled by the syntax h/.g(1), What does the /. mean?

The h/.g(1) is scilab's way of creating a feedback. Please see this link https://help.scilab.org/docs/5.4.1/pt_BR/feedback.html Do not confuse it with other dot operations.
