I downloaded Sci Lab 6.1.1 for Mac OS and installed it, but when I try to open it the app shows up in the side bar for a moment before disappearing again. No windows open, no error notifications, it just instantly closes again.

I'm on a 2017 MacBook Pro with macOS Monterey 12.4.

I'd be happy about any advice or trouble shooting ideas to get Sci Lab working. So far I've tried deinstalling and reinstalling, but that hasn't worked. And as there's no error notifications or anything I don't really know where to start with trying to fix this.
