Constant-volume heat transfer or constant-volume combustion (like Otto Cycle)
Hi, I'm an energy engineer and i tried to use DWSIM for a few weeks.
It's an amazing software and for my simple tasks (not advanced chemistry processes but only thermodynamic and combustion) i think that it's wonderful.
In DWSIM a Joule-Bryton cycle is easy to simulate because there is a constant-pressure heat trasfer (or constant-pressure combustion), but i don't know if it's possible to simulate a constant-volume heat transfer (isocoric) or better a combustion like a otto cycle. Can you help me?
Thanks a lot.
Have a nice day.
DWSIM

I think, constant-volume process cannot be simulated yet in DWSIM.

Thanks so much for sharing this awesome info! I am looking forward to see more postsby you! cap up bars
