This forum is a help forum on DWSIM. So can't really comment on aspen. As far as DWSIM is concerned, you can model any unit operation that is not available as part of the native unit operation library of DWSIM by using the custom modeling feature available in DWSIM. You can make use of IronPython or Python.Net or Scilab to create the custom model.
