SciLab on Linux Ubuntu HiDPI (4k) Screen

Hello,

I've been trying for several days to get SciLab 6.1 to be properly displayed on a Ubuntu Linux computer (both 20.04 and 20.10 versions) that uses a HiDPI 4k screen: The fonts are way too small to be workable, the file browser on the left is badly displayed and the icons are way too small (see picture). There is a bug report about it on the Mozilla bug web site since 2015, but there doesn't seems to be any usefull answer there.

Is there someone who succeeded with getting SciLab displayed properly?

You can try following option to increase the fontsize of scinotes window and scilab console. This might solve your problem. Go to menu bar of scinotes window->Options->Preferences->Set font->Click on 3 dots given in front of 'Monospaced 16 plain'.->Select the fontsize->Ok->Apply
