The functioning of radfrac model in Aspen can be replicated in DWSIM using Distillation column.

The ideal method for simulating a distillation column in DWSIM will be to find out the distillation column inputs (no of stages, feed tray location) by simulating a shortcut column first in DWSIM. Once the shortcut column is simulated, use its result and simulate distillation column. If you face any trouble in simulating a distillation column or getting it converged, you may consider simulating a Chemsep column.
