OBJECT REFERENCE NOT SET TO AN INSTANCE OF AN OBJECT

I have encountered this error when running a simulation for a digester that says that object reference not set to an inctance of an object. What should I do to debug this error?

You get this error in DWSIM when you try to run the simulation without selecting components or without selecting a thermodynamic package or run the simulation without connecting the objects.
