Administrator(root) password is not working

One of the customers, is unable to use the root password, we had informed the root password is root, but still, the customer is facing the issue.

The customer is trying to install few applications but he is restricted by the root password, he tried passwords such as root, user, root123

Please help.

One may use sudoto install applications if they need explicitly "root" prompt(the '#' prompt) then try

sudo -s

If you have an application installation issue, please post a screenshot with the error text.
