Urgent: Problem Facing during installation of esim in mint-18 linux OS

while opening the schemetic of already existing project (i.e. Rectifire) follwing problem is observed. as per attachment.

Please note that eSim is only for Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 distribuitions of Linux.

Thanks for clarification, 

We also face a difficulty to install the same in window-10. The installation was shown successful and the desktop short cut icon is also created but the esim is not open. In few computers esim open but schemetic is not open for the already existing example. 

Can you please guide us in this matter?

What is the error shown in the command prompt when you click on 'open schematic'?

Is it possible to install the esim in D:/FOSSEE? 

 Along with esim all the other packages like python, matplotlib, numpy, kicad also can be install in the same drive D:/FOSSEE or not?

Kindly stick to the convention that we have set.
 Follow the spoken tutorial on installing eSim in Windows OS, each and every instruction. About 4GB space will be required in C drive. We do not recommend you use locations of your choosing, troubleshooting will be harder

The latest version of eSim [release date - 30 August 2019, does not require internet connect to perform the mapping Footprint tutorial. Please get the latest version and then install

Only when you are downloading the installer, after that it's not required
